You can also use any of the ASP .NET, HTML5, or Silverlight™ controls within Gantt Chart Web Library, Gantt Chart Hyper Library, or Gantt Chart Light Library in a SharePoint® Web part. (For Silverlight™ components, you may use the Silverlight™ Object Model from SharePoint® Foundation available in SharePoint® Online).
You can use either a custom database for storing the tasks and resources of the project presented using DlhSoft controls (and develop a Web part that connects to that database using a custom data service), or you can rely on data from the Tasks list from SharePoint® itself.
Note that the trust level configured for your SharePoint® Web application may need to be decreased in order to enable components to run successfully, depending on your requirements and architecture. To set the security level to full trust, simply change the trust entry value in your SharePoint® Web.config file to "Full".
