Building WinRT based sample applications for Windows® Store apps using Visual Studio® 2012 on Windows® 8 computers
You might experience temporary build errors trying to build sample applications for Gantt Chart Modern Library for Windows® Store apps using Visual Studio® 2012 on Windows® 8.
In order to resolve the issue, please follow these steps:
- Especially if you use the 64-bit operating system or when you installed the product to a custom installation path, ensure that the DlhSoft assembly (or metadata) references are correct: no yellow warning sign icon should be displayed for them in Solution Explorer; if needed, remove and re-add the references, browsing to the product installation folder, within Program Files (x86);
- Build the Visual Studio project for the sample application: this might still generate temporary build error messages due to previous content within the Obj folder;
- Re-build the Visual Studio project (using Rebuild command from the project context menu in Solution Explorer): now the application should be deployed as expected as the Obj folder content has been updated in the previous step.
